Command Control Center

The Labs IT master technician, Vern Graner, is developing the Command Control Center which will help me (Professor Conrad) control just about damn nearly everything. Also to be included in the CCC is this audio module which has two SOUNDGIN
boards and six seperate audio recording boards. We will also rock you.

Promotion

The Maestro aka SB Overloard, has been promoted as the director/arranger of the Screamin' Babyheads. Armed with a baton and taser, we expect a very cooperative band.

Yet another

Tab the tuba player just made it out of rehab and is now in the band. It was playing an interpretation of "Asleep in the Deep" during the photo shoot.

At SNIPPLES Tonight

Live tonight at Snipples Lounge will be Rodney and The Tickler. Snipples is located on the grounds of Flimflam Laboratories and it is a place that lets you nurse your beers and provides free fried collard greens.

FIRST RECITAL

We jammed the Gianormous Grand Piano onto Stage 2 at the Caliente Performance Center at Flimflam Laboratories for "The Tickler", a virtuoso keyboardist. It will be our first artist to appear on the stage tonight.

FALL TOUR

We have been thinking about restoring the lab's Mayan pyramid along with the Mother Earth Turtle and include them in the "It's the end of the World as we Know it" fall tour of the Screamin" Babyheads on Professor Conrad's Traveling Medical Show. Included in the photo is SB Overlord and Deafanator.

The Low and High End

The two together, Deafanator ( 6' tall Organ pipe) and Ricardo ( organ/recorders), the Screamin' Babyheads will drive you from your seats.

Recorder Pipe Organ

A robo-monkey blows the notes while two robo-arachnids cover the holes. A trainee watches from atop. The organ will be a nice addition to the band.

GEEK THEATER

While potential SBh band members are auditioning, the lab's social director has begun the first rehearsal of the yet to be named geek tragedy at the Caliente Performance theater's stage two.

SBh horn section is taking shape. L-R, Saxton, Blastmatic, Fourlips, and Satch. Need a trombone player next.

Four singers made it out of rehab and practice together for their auditions. L to R are Slips, Flying Bird Brainbot, Screamata and Blasto.

PERCUSSION SECTION GROWS

So far six pieces of the percussion section have made it out of rehab and are awaiting audition.

New rehab. members

The band gets larger: Name- Bone Picker (SBh-10), instrument- walking dead bass, action- rocks back and forth, feature- 2 in 1. Also Robostella on floor tom.

FRACKING

The lab has been successfully fracking the limestone formation under the facilities thus driving rogue Biomechanicals to the surfice for capture. We are educating, rendering them harmless, and then putting them into the Screamin' Babyheads Band rehabilitation program.

MORE ADDITIONS

Two more rogue Biomechanicals have been refurbished, rendered harmless, and placed in the SBh line up. Their position is yet to be determined.

SCREAMATA

Screamata, the founding member of the Screamin' Babyheads Band has just been captured and is undergoing rehabilitation.

Introducing Slips

The lab just reconditioned one of the captured rogue Biomechanical and will place it in the band as a backup singer. It has been given the name Slips. All band members have been rendered harmless and all evil memories and training wipe out.

Stage within a stage

We have just built a portable multipurpose stage. It can be used just for product display, puppet and marionette shows, Biomechanical safety education programs and much more. It's home base is on the Caliente Performance Stage.

FBBb 2.0

The lead singer of the SBhs has a new day job at the lab's performance stage. It has been converted into the Flying Bird Brainbot. It's duties include keeping order on stage during the day.

Flimflam Productions

Flimflam Productions was created as the PR branch for the lab. They have created our road show. Pictured here are some of our lab punks including a film crew from Smith Creek Studios at a recent appearance in Austin Texas.

Back on the Road

The Lab's road show goes to Lubbock April 28th to the Mini Maker Faire at Texas Tech. This time we will bring the Flying Bird Brainbot on it's terrestrial radio controlled platform

The Lab's mobile unit, Professor Conrad's Medical Show, made an appearance during SXSW Interactive last Tuesday.

'bout ready to roll

 The lab's medicine wagon is about ready with the Gianormous Brainbot onboard to make it's debut. Professor Conrad's GREAT-MONTEBANK Traveling Medical Exposition with debut with plenty of samples of Dioxohol and it's derivatives. 

Up and Running Again

The new improved satellite dish was just erected this morning next to the newly dedicated Otto Kolmeier Communication Center at the lab. We are now again able to communicate with our remote traveling stations at lightning speed. 5G perhaps.

Invitro-ribs

Yummm! Pictured here, Professor Conrad makes sure the first Invitro-ribs produced in the lab were no longer alive before placing them on the grill. They were delicious.

DISASTER!

Just in- It was discovered this morning at the lab that high winds toppled the satellite dish tower last night. At this moment, THEGIANTBRAIN is unable to communicate with the traveling medicine show. Technicians on the road will have to wing it until repairs are made. Time to upgrade the system.

About Ready to Roll

The GGBb is just about ready for a road trip and field trials. All that needs to be attached are accessory racks on the top and front. The Neurobots will be neutralize and packed separately for the trip. not shown is the satellite link to THEGIANTBRAIN which will remain at the lab.

Gianormous Golden Brainbot

Originally built to house THEGIANTBRAIN, the Gianormous Golden Brainbot will become the representative of TGB on the road. Through a satellite link up, direct communication will be possible from the field to TGB. This photo of the GGBb was taken right after the neural plasma coating was applied. At lot more progress has been made since this photo was taken.

3D Organ Printer

Because of the huge success of our neuronic plasma recipe and it's use as a slurry spray over a cellulose matrix in the creation of the Gianormous Golden Brainbot, we are building a 3D human organ printer utilizing a salvaged Epson R800 color printer.

Mystery stuff

Digging deep into the ash pile, charred mysterious piece of rogue lab experiments are being extracted.

Hidden Laboratory

After water boarding a captured Rogue Biomechanical, it was revealed that a secret laboratory was under the burned out chapel at the lab's compound. (see the past blog,"Chapel Burns, Feb. 13, '07). Some heavy equipment Neurobots are excavating the ash pile at this moment.

Hosiden Reappears

Hosiden reappeared at the lab's Neurabot's training facility. The Nbs were mesmerized by the high frequency sound being emitted by it.

The other day, Hosiden appeared at the mouth of the shaman's cave and wandered off.

Some of the Neurabots are examining a mummified pepper found in the shaman's cave on the lab's back 3.

Nb-M32 is one of our Neurabots that will be servicing the Gianourmous Golden Brainbot. Hopefully, the GGB will be complete and out of the lab by Christmas.

The lab is on a Neurobot construction binge in preparation for the release of the Gianormous Golden Brainbot. Pictured is inside one of the lab's cubicles.

Mummy surgery

We scored big on some gray market mummies and the Biomechanicals are honing their surgical skills on them.

Operation Brain Surgery

The Lab's great leap forward in neuro-chip advancement was made possible when "OPERATION Brain Surgery" was procured. This device allowed Biomechanicals to hone their laboratory and surgical experience through many failures without loss of life. Eventually, success was achieved which leads to where we are today.
