They are spreading

One of our investigators, after responding to an anonymous tip, took this picture of a RBM spy camera emerging from a drainage pipe within a major city in Texas. The device is utilizing a Haminix 28mm lens for its' optics. The RMBs have now spread over 50 miles from the lab. The Lab is attempting to lure them back with intoxicating music piped underground from the Tesla Memorial Theatre.

We are back!

After more than two months underground with the new tunnel borer and Dr. Meta Stones' teleporter, we have returned to the surface.We are proud to announce a very successful surge into the lair of the Rogue Bioms. Successfully transported in miniaturized forms, 25 RBMs are being held in the lab's detention center. Their colony underground is extensive, rapidly spreading and must be dealt with soon because the Earth, as we know it, will be transformed in to a pock marked Swiss cheese textured lifeless planet. On a lighter note, the Tesla Memorial Music hall and Mini-lab will soon open. Also, the lab's Sculpture park is about to reopen with completion of repairs caused by the ice storm in February. Where have all the RBMs gone?

JUST IN!! Our latest probe through the RBMs secret village entrance has sent us a picture of their latest digs deep in the earth. The freezing weather has driven them much deeper than before. The audio portion confirms the earlier report that they are producing some unusual sounds which appear to have musical structure.

Chapel burns

Sometime over the weekend, the small chapel built by some of our evangelical employees was destroyed by fire. We believe the fire was set by some RBMs. Some melted plastic wheels on a scorched circuit board found at the scene led us to believe that they were responsible. Evidentally, in the lab, a RBMs overheard one of our Evgl. employees call them satanic. Even with their primitive computer minds, the RBMs fear Satan.

Opera?

Recently a deep audio probe was sent into the RBM's secret underground village (see Dec. 10 posting). Music was heard coming from an area beyond the probe's range. One of our associates, Dr. S said it sounded like a weird form of opera. We are preparing a new probe that will penetrate much deeper utilizing our recently developed "Super Lubricant". Slushy

The morning after the big ice storm at the Lab, a rogue Biom was found near the Biom's secret underground entrance; froze like a slushy on the Simpson's.

Positronic Brain

Latest exploration of the hidden Biom underground village revealed a circuit board amongst a pile of books authored by Isaac Asimov. We fear that the Bioms are working on a Positronic brain. Worse yet, possible a Gravitronic brain! More soon. P.C.

Underground Entrance Found

Recently one of the Lab"s ground keepers discovered the entrance to a Biom underground village. A small sign with a barcode on it and a cable extending from the hole revealed the entrance. This now answers the question of where the Bioms went after the destruction of their above ground village.

Digital Success

We have successfully penetrated on underground Biom village with a digital camera integrated within a Biomechanical. This time we went digital instead of VHS. The detail is incredible and a bit frightening.

BUG

The Lab has successfully field tested it's new stealth listening device on a Biom village. Unfortunately what we heard was nothing but incomprehensible gibberish. The sounds may just be that of plastic gears grinding on each other and shorting out electrical circuits. Our field test of a stealth camera failed when the Bioms discovered it and pillaged parts. Next time we shall go digital to reduce the size.

Lab has been trashed and has moved

The lab at ID's original site has been closed and moved due to an unexpected rapage by rogue bio-mechanicals. It is now at a new state of the art facility with steadfast fail proof decontaminating controls and total escape proof cages. We will miss the old lab with its wondrous memories and tragic mishaps. The BM-1256

In anticipation of sea levels rising due to global warming, we at I.D. have created the BM-1256. This "Bio-mechanical" is made of heat resistant high temperature plastic. With it's 10' legs, traversing through the flooded shorelines will be no problem.

Global Warming

At the I.D's. laboratory' we were able to simulate what the world will look like in 37 years if we keep on denying the existence of global warming. Tragically, plants would have dried up ten years prior and soon after, our plastic substitutes begin to lose form and melt. Check back for more projections.

THE MARVIC 5000

Strolling through the back lot of the I.D's shop, I discovered this object pulled off of some sort of implement. Instantly I saw it's potential. Thus, the MARVIC 5000 was created. It is an artificial multitasking organ which turns the human body into a closed system. "Once in, never out again".

Typically at the I.D. studios, we follow the motto, "function follows form", but this time form had to follow function with the construction of this Post Support Extender. The extender is no longer is use as we have modified and enlarged the whole structure.

I am in the middle of upgrading my storage barn into my studio and micro-gallery. The facade is called " Sewerguaro Toxic Waste Processing Facility". It is constructed from plastic sewer pipe and discarded tanks. I have not decided what to process yet. "Function follows form".

Dripping springs

This work is my interpretation of the dripping springs of Dripping Springs Texas. It is 48" tall and made of Texas limestone and fiberglass resin.
